Courtney is a Registered Psychologist with over eight years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families. Having worked across a range of settings, including schools and rural communities, she has developed a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, experiences, and challenges of young people and their families.
Courtney is passionate about creating a warm, playful, and supportive space where children feel safe to be themselves, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of their emotions and experiences. She takes a strengths-based, neuro-affirming approach and enjoys working with children and their families. Courtney values each child’s individuality and works collaboratively with families to support wellbeing, connection, and meaningful growth.
Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each child’s unique needs and draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness, and both creative art and play-based therapies.
Courtney also conducts cognitive and behavioural assessments and supports children experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, school-related challenges, self-esteem concerns, trauma, grief and loss, and behavioural differences. She places great importance on building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families to help them achieve their goals and thrive.
