Emily is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who has been working in paediatric practice since 2020. She completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honors) at the University of Newcastle and has undertaken additional training in SOS Approach to Feeding, Hanen More Than Words, situational mutism and workshops based on infant feeding approaches.
Emily has experience supporting a wide range of communication and feeding needs. She has a strong interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and is skilled in assessing, prescribing, and supporting AAC systems to promote meaningful, functional communication.
She values client‑centred, individualised therapy and works from a neurodiversity‑affirming, strengths‑based perspective. Emily is committed to collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure support is practical, respectful, and embedded across everyday environments.
