Behaviour Support Practitioner
Cessnock, Tuggerah, Warners Bay

I’m a Behaviour Support Practitioner who works mainly with neurodiverse children, young people, and their families. I’m passionate about supporting kids to feel understood, safe, and confident in who they are, while helping parents feel more connected and equipped in their role.

My approach is grounded in unconditional positive regard and a strong belief in the importance of connection. I draw on person-centred and play-based approaches to gently support children to express themselves, make sense of their experiences, and build confidence in who they are. I’m always curious about the “why” behind behaviour, seeing it as communication rather than something to be fixed.

I work closely with parents and caregivers to build understanding, strengthen relationships, and find practical ways to support regulation and connection at home and beyond. My background in therapeutic work within out-of-home care continues to shape my focus on safety, attachment, and trust.

I’m currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, and I’m particularly interested in attachment, trauma-informed practice, and helping young people make sense of their experiences.

deep in a romance book, binge-watching a TV show, or having friends over for good food and lots of laughs. I love getting out into nature for a walk, and I’m a big believer in rest and recharge time.
