Registered Counsellor
Tuggerah

I’m a registered counsellor who works with adolescents and adults aged 12 and over, supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional challenges and the many ups and downs that can come with navigating life.

My approach to counselling is collaborative, person-centred and non-judgemental. I believe people are the experts in their own lives, and therapy works best when we work together to understand what is happening, identify what matters to you and find approaches that feel meaningful and achievable.

I aim to create a space where you can be yourself without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. I work from a strengths-based and neuro-affirming perspective, recognising that there is no single “right” way to think, feel, communicate or move through the world.

I particularly enjoy supporting people with emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions and understanding patterns that may no longer be working for them. My approach is practical and flexible, drawing on different therapeutic strategies to suit the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit the therapy.

One thing I love about the work I do…

Seeing those moments when something clicks — when someone begins to understand themselves differently, recognises strengths they may not have seen before, or finds a way forward that genuinely works for them.
