These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Beam Wellbeing Pty Ltd (Beam, we, us, our) website and your engagement with our allied health services, including psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, behaviour support, and mental health programs. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

About our services

Beam provides evidence-based, person-centred, neuro-affirming allied health services to children, teens, adults, and families across our clinics, in schools, at home, and via telehealth. Our services are delivered by qualified practitioners in accordance with their relevant professional and regulatory standards.

Information provided on our website is general in nature and is not a substitute for individual clinical advice, assessment, or treatment. If you are experiencing a crisis or emergency, please contact 000 or a crisis support service, as set out on our Crisis Numbers & Helpful Contacts page.

Appointments and referrals

Some of our services require a referral from a GP or other health professional, particularly where Medicare rebates or specific funding arrangements apply. It is your responsibility to ensure any required referral or NDIS plan authorisation is current and provided to us prior to your appointment.

We ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Our current cancellation policy, including any applicable fees, is available on request or as set out in your service agreement.

Fees and payment

Fees for our services are set out on our Fees page or in your individual service agreement, and may be subject to change. Where applicable, we will provide information about Medicare rebates, NDIS funding, and private health insurance claiming to help you understand your out-of-pocket costs. Payment is required in accordance with the terms provided to you at the time of booking or in your service agreement.

NDIS participants

For clients funded under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, our services are delivered in accordance with the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct. Our engagement with NDIS participants is also governed by the relevant service agreement and, where applicable, the NDIS Terms of Business.
