Kirsti is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with experience in private practice and within schools. Kirsti has spent the last 2 years working in Penrith, nearby her hometown in the Blue Mountains. She decided 2022 was a year for a sea change, and has returned to her University town of Newcastle.
Kirsti is passionate about building relationships with children and their families to provide a holistic approach to speech therapy. She is particularly interested in speech sound disorders, social communication, literacy development and providing education to parents and teachers.
Kirsti has training in the Sounds-Write Literacy Program and LEGO based social communication therapy. She has extensive experience in using these programs within her individual therapy sessions and in group therapy.
In her spare time, Kirsti loves to go for walks, spend time with her dogs, read and paint. She is always looking for new hobbies and experiences to keep her busy.
