Lara graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (honours) in 2021 from the University of Newcastle and has experience working with children and their families. She is passionate about ensuring all children and their family members feel supported and listened to during their therapy experience.

Lara believes therapy should be fun and exciting and will tailor her sessions to the child’s interests where possible. Lara is family-centred and has an interest in early brain development, as well as helping littlies get ready for big school. Lara has experience in trauma-centred care, fine and gross motor development and supporting children with sensory processing issues (to name a few). She is committed to continuing her education to uphold best practice.

Outside of work, Lara is learning to surf, loves reading, crocheting, going to the beach and spending time with her family.
