Samara graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland in 2024 and is registered with the Australian Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Samara has experience supporting children with physical, developmental, and sensory needs from her previous clinical placements and work as a paediatric support worker. She believes therapy should be fun and engaging and is passionate about working collaboratively with children and their families to achieve their goals. Samara also has a strong interest in research. During her studies, she was selected to undertake an advanced research project focusing on the use of virtual reality technology in neurorehabilitation settings. She is interested in pursuing research in the future, this time with a particular focus on paediatrics.

Outside of work, Samara enjoys spending time with her friends, exercising, playing the piano, and going to the beach. Samara is excited to begin her career as a paediatric occupational therapist with Beam in Kedron.
