Ameika is a graduate Speech Pathologist who holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Newcastle. She completed placements across a wide range of settings, including schools, private clinics, rehabilitation centres, community health clinics and aged care facilities.

During her studies, Ameika worked as an Allied Health Assistant, supporting children with disabilities including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Through this role, she built strong clinical knowledge in delivering intervention for speech, language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and pragmatic communication needs.

Ameika is passionate about providing holistic, neuro-affirming care, with particular interests in speech sounds and language. She is excited to continue building her knowledge in AAC and literacy.

Outside of work, Ameika enjoys travelling the world, going to the gym, running, and spending time with her friends, family and puppies.
