Bentley graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of Newcastle in 2023, and is registered with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

During his studies, Bentley has completed placements in various clinical areas, such as in community, hospital, and school-based occupational therapy settings. Bentley’s caseloads have included a wide variety of conditions, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. Bentley has a strong array of skills in pediatric intervention, such as in gross motor skills, fine motor skills, executive function, and handwriting intervention. Bentley also has strong experience using therapy frameworks, such as the CO-OP approach.

Bentley is passionate about building rapport with his clients. Bentley enjoys building relationships and believes both client and family centered practice is pivotal to guiding intervention. Bentley believes intervention is most effective when children are comfortable being themselves, and therefore, building a strong rapport is essential.

Furthermore, as a swimming instructor of over 5 years, Bentley has extensive experience working with children. Bentley also holds experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the pediatric setting.

Outside of work, Bentley enjoys all things fitness and sport, Swimming, playing, and watching AFL and playing guitar and saxophone.
