Clare graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of Newcastle in 2017. Since completing her studies, Clare has gained experience supporting children and young adults with a variety of disabilities and individual needs, as well as their families, within the private paediatric setting.
Clare is passionate about supporting all individuals and their families to live their best lives. She uses a holistic and family-centred approach when working with you – taking the time to understand your child’s needs and aspirations. Clare also understands the importance of working as a team, and will collaborate with you and your child’s support team to ensure the best outcomes in therapy.
Through therapy sessions, Clare uses a variety of play-based and functional activities to ensure they fun and meaningful, whilst working towards your child’s goals. She also loves being creative and combining your child’s interests into therapy sessions, as well as sharing all moments of progress with you and your child.
Away from work, you’ll find Clare walking her dog, spending time with her family and friends, and enjoying yoga and Pilates.
Clare is excited to be a part of the Beam team, and looks forward to working with you.
