Emily is a graduate from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). During her years at university, she gained experience through working as an Allied Health Assistant with children and adults with speech, language, and social communication difficulties and implemented literacy programs in the Greater Brisbane area. Emily has experience working with individuals with various disabilities, including Autism, Developmental Language Disorder, and Down Syndrome.
Emily is passionate about supporting children and their families to achieve their goals. She enjoys building connections with her clients and seeing their confidence blossom. Emily is particularly interested in supporting clients with language, literacy, and social communication difficulties. She is keen to grow her skills in supporting clients who use alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
When she’s not working, Emily spends her time with family and friends, and enjoys all things creative such as crocheting, drawing, and cooking.
