Ian is a Provisional Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience as a NSW school educator. He brings a strong understanding of learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing, and values practical, collaborative support. Drawing on his lived experience as a neurodivergent individual, Ian provides neuroaffirming support that focuses on strengths, understanding, and respect. He uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Theory–informed practice, and Emotion Coaching parenting strategies. Ian has experience supporting neurodivergent clients and families, helping children navigate emotional and behavioural challenges, and aims to create a space where individuals feel safe to be their authentic selves.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys gaming, painting tabletop miniatures, watching science fiction, riding his motorcycle, practicing karate, and spending time with family.
