Michelle is a registered Psychologist with five years experience working with children, young people and their care teams. Michelle also has knowledge and experience working with chidden and young people within the OOHC system who have experienced complex trauma.

Michelle is friendly, approachable and committed to working alongside the children and young people she supports. Michelle works to provide a space for all her clients to feel heard and to holistically work with them and the people around them to achieve the change they would like.

Michelle is experienced in working with a variety of presentations including trauma, behavioural challenges, anxiety, stress, sleep problems, adjustment issues, depression and attachment difficulties. Michelle is trained in delivering evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focussed Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma informed practice and other creative and play based methods. Michelle is also experienced in administering a range of psychological tests such as cognitive and behavioural assessments.

Away from work, Michelle likes to spend time with her family and friends, cuddle up with her two dogs to watch a movie or get outside for some exercise, particularly soccer, jogging or a long walk.
