Shahna is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with children and families, adolescents and adults. She obtained her Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of Tasmania. Shahna believes building a trusting therapeutic relationship is a crucial element to successful therapy. Her approach is warm, compassionate and neuro-affirming.
Shahna is experienced in providing therapy and psychological assessments across a broad range of presentations. She draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) that are each adapted to suit her individual client’s needs.
Outside of work, Shahna loves going to the beach, tending to her plants and spending time with her dog.
