Beam Health is looking for a vibrant, child and family orientated Speech Pathologist who thrives in a dynamic and supportive environment to join our growing Speech Pathology team at our Cessnock Clinic.

The Role
As a Speech Pathologist you will:
- Provide therapy and intervention for children, youth and families with a range of speech and language needs
- Initiate, plan, implement, and evaluate group therapy programs for children, parents, carers, and professionals as required
- Develop, prepare, and review high quality clinical reports and therapeutic plans
- Maintain thorough client notes and records, whilst maintaining strong standards of confidentiality
- Complete relevant assessments and screeners for children to inform support, care, and planning
- Develop and foster professional relationships with other providers and agencies in the community
- Work constructively and openly in Beam’s multidisciplinary team, towards the best outcomes for the client and their family
- Engage in professional development opportunities, and undertake continual relevant research to ensure continuous improvement
- Comply with Beam policies, procedures and processes to a high standard

The Requirements
To apply for the role, we would like you to have:
- Tertiary level qualification in Speech Pathology
- Speech Pathology Australia professional registration (or eligibility)
- Eligibility to provide NDIS and Medicare services
- NSW drivers license and own vehicle
- Clinical experience working with children, youth and families
- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with GPs, NDIS stakeholders, Paediatricians, allied health professionals, community service agencies and other professionals that are beneficial to Beam Health.
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical services or programs (or an interest in learning).
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to grow and develop a sustainable and quality therapeutic and clinical service discipline
- Passion and commitment to ongoing professional development
