Charlee graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of Newcastle in 2022 and is registered with the Australian Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Prior to graduating Charlee was working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant within the community and a mental health ward in a local hospital.
During her studies, Charlee completed various clinical placements working with people across all lifespans and within an array of environmental settings. Her caseloads have included a widespread of conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, Attention Hyperactive Deficit Disorder, PTSD, Anxiety and Depression. Her time working with clients of these conditions have solidified her love for working with children and supporting others using a person-centred and neurodiversity affirming approach.
Charlee enjoys working with children and adolescents to achieve their goals predominately based on regulating emotions, sensory processing, and executive functioning. She is passionate about delivering fun and creative therapy services, which encompass laughter, skill building, her clients interests and their family.
Outside of work, Charlee enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the beach, camping, and hiking. Charlee is excited to begin her journey at Beam in Warners Bay and Tuggerah and cannot wait to support your family in achieving their goals.
